Can someone really make money on YouTube? This is a thought that has been going through my mind so many times. After doing research for the past two months, I have identified a formula that can be followed to actually make money on YouTube. If my channel picks up, I can start making over $1,000 a month within 3 months of starting my YouTube channel.

YouTube is not only for people with personal brand channels who can go in front of the camera and talk. If you are camera shy like me, you can still post videos on YouTube. There are so many other video types that are gaining millions of views. These can be list videos (Top 5, Top 10, etc.) which are a compilation of a bunch of similar videos, voiceover videos where you show a software or website using screen capture and explain how that works, music track with an image or animation as the video, fully animated explainer video, and the list goes on.

Find A Niche Which Has Demand

Don’t go on posting videos of varying genres and niches on the same YouTube channel. You should cater your channel to a specific niche so that the people who are interested in that niche can subscribe and watch more videos that you post.
